대구 도시철도 경산시 연장에 따른 통행수단 변화 분석 - 통행 목적 및 목적지별 변화요인의 비교 분석을 중심으로 - = Analyzing Travel Mode Change Due to Gyeongsan Expansion of the Daegu Subway System

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The main objective of this paper is to analyze travel mode change due to the introduction of a new subway system, which is supposed to run in 2012. The paper uses RP(Revealed Preferences)/SP(Stated Preferences) data collected from Gyeongsan City, which is a satellite city of Daegu Metropolitan City. So far few researches,especially using before-and-after individual RP/SP travel survey, have been conducted on analyzing travel mode change due to the introduction of a new subway system. For this research, some descriptive statistical analyses were conducted. Furthermore, some empirical logit models were estimated for analyzing factors affecting the travel mode change. Finally, some important findings and policy implications are discussed. The significant findings from the study are summarized as follows. From the empirical model estimation, it is found that there are substantial differences in the parameter estimates and their statistical significances between the work travel and the non-work travel models. However, the differences among the non-work travel models, which are segmented by the travel destination, are not statistically confirmed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 현재는 도시철도가 운영되지 않고 있으나 2012년 개통을 목표로도시철도 건설공사(대구도시철도 2호선 경산 연장공사)가 진행 중인 경산시를 사례지역으로 선정하여 경산시민들의 도시철도 개통 전과 후의 통행수단 변화를 분석하고자 하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 경산시가 대구광역시의 위성도시적 성격을 가진다는 점을 감안하여 경산-대구간 통근통행과 비통근통행을 분석대상으로 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 충족시키기 위해 경산시민들을대상으로 RP/SP자료를 획득하고, 도시철도 개통 전과 후의 통행수단 변화를 분석하였으며, 통행수단 변화 여부에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위해 로짓모형을 추정하고 그 결과를 논의하였다. 아울러 분석결과의 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과 통근통행과 비통근통행은 통행수단 변화 여부에 영향을 미치는 요인이 통계적으로 충분히 다른 것으로 확인된반면, 비통근통행의 목적지별 영향 요인의 차별성은 확인할 수 없었다.
