최근 중국의 문화콘텐츠에 나타난 한국전쟁에 대한 인식과 문제점에 대한 고찰

국문 초록 (Abstract)

경제분야를 중심으로 한중관계는 날로 발전하고 있으나 우리와는 다른 체제에 기인한 현실정치상황이나 문화적 특성에 대해서는 아직 이해가 부족한 편이다. 이로 인해 많은 역사적 사건이나 현실 문제에 있어서 우리와 다르게 이해하고 있는 경우가 많다. 특히 한국전쟁은 우리 민족에게 있어서 현재까지도 남북 대치국면을 이어오게 만든 동족상잔의 비극으로서 현대사에 가장 중요한 사건이었다. 중국 역시 참전국으로서 매년 독자적으로 성대한 기념행사를 거행하며 한국전쟁을 정치적으로 활용해오고 있는데, 북한인민을 도와서 미국 중심의 강력한 연합군의 침입을 물리쳤으며, 이로부터 상호 혈맹국의 공고한 관계가 형성되었다는 인식에서 시작된다. 2009년 북한의 핵실험으로 한반도 주변에 긴장국면이 조성되고 북한이 고립되자 중국은 직접 당시 부주석 시진핑의 이름을 통해 북한과의 혈맹관계를 다시 강조하면서 북한을 옹호하였다. 그리고 참전 중 전사한 마오쩌둥의 장자를 소재로 만든 드라마 <마오안잉>(2010)을 선물하면서 재삼 관계를 확인하였다. 마치 한국전쟁 당시처럼 국제적 위협에 처한 북한을 중국이 도와주는 장면이 재현된 듯하다. 물론 여기에는 북한 내 경제투자의 이익을 선점한다는 현실적 이익도 내재되어 있다. 정치적 목적을 위해 드라마 등 문화예술작품을 이용하는 것은 중국공산당의 일반적인 방식의 하나이다. 그러나 동북공정의 예에서 보이듯 우리 역사와 직접 관련된 내용을 왜곡하는 등 일방적이고 패권적인 측면이 있으며, 한국전쟁에 대해서도 마찬가지의 위험성이 내포되어 있으므로 주의하지 않을 수 없다. 역사적 사실에 대한 올바른 인식의 공유를 위해서 중국이 한국전쟁에 대해 가지고 있는 이해와 그것의 문화적 표현 간의 차이를 분명하게 검토하는 것이 필요하다.

The Korea-China relations led by the economic part have developed day by day. But there is not enough understanding among us on the real political situation and cultural characteristics coming from the fact that the Chinese regime is different from the one we have had. The Chinese see many historical events and real problems differently from us. Especially, the Korean War was the tragedy of a fratricidal war and the most important accident in the modern Korean history which have led South and North Koreas still confront each other. China fought in the war helping North Korea, and has used its participation in the war politically by holding the annual memorial rite. It begins with the consciousness that China, aiding the North Korean people, fought back the invasion of the allied forces led by the U. S. A., and formed a strong relationship with North Korea as blood allies. As the situation became tense around the Korean peninsula with the nuclear bomb experiments of North Korea in 2009, and North Korea became isolated, China supported North Korea, emphasizing its blood allies with North Korea in the name of the then vice president Xi Jinping.
