우리나라 U-Health 산업의 시장분석과 제도적 정비방안

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Thanks to the recent development of information and communications technology, Korea has secured a better infrastructure for high speed communications network than those of other countries in the world. In addition, convergence between digital devices, development of wireless communications technology and the advent of various small and portable bio-signal measuring sensor ushers in the era of U-health care where anyone can monitor their own health conditions anytime anywhere and receive customized health management service. Furthermore, for well-being, the main concern for the modern people, and upcoming aged society, the current level or form of medical services is not appropriate. Rather, it is desperate for Korea to adopt more advanced medical service focused on management and prevention. This report analyzes the current status of U-health industry in Korea and its future direction for development.
