미성취 영재의 학교적응력 향상을 위한 집단상담 프로그램 개발 = The Development of a Group Counseling Program to Enhance School Adjustability of Gifted Underachievers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 미성취 영재의 학교적응력 향상을 위한 집단상담 프로그램을 구안하여 적용하고 그 효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 충북 청주시에 소재하는 K초등학교 5, 6학년 아동 가운데 IQ가 130 이상이면서 성취도 평가결과 상위 30%에 포함되지 못하는 미성취 영재 18명 선별하였으며, 이들 을 각각 실험집단과 통제집단에 9명씩 배정하였다. 학교적응력 향상 집단상담 프로그램의 구안은 선행연구 고찰 결과를 바탕으로 교우관계, 교사관계, 학교수업, 학교규칙 등 4가지 구성요소를 추출하여 이를 중심으로 구안하였으며 구안과정에서 미성취 영재의 독특한 지적, 정서적, 사회적 특성을 반영하였다. 검사도구로는 학교적응력검사를 사용하였고 자료처리는 혼합변량분석(Mixed ANOVA)으로 통계적 분석을 하였다. 연구결과, 학교적응력 향상 집단상담 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단의 학교적응력이 통제집단보다 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타나 프로그램이 미성취 아동의 학교적응력을 높이는데 효과가 있었음을 알 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to construct and implement a program utilizing in group counseling for gifted underachievers in the elementary school and assess and validate its effect on their school adjustability. Main objectives are as follows : developing an effective way to construct the program for gifted underachievers in the elementary school to participate in group counseling; validating its effect on the school adjustability. This program is based on Counseling Program Development Model by Park In-woo(1995). The program consist of ten sessions including school adjustability improvement activities. Eighteen students were randomly assigned into an experimental group and a control group consisting of nine students each. The test tool was 󰡐School Life Adjustment Test󰡑of Song, Mi Won(1999). For data processing,󰡐Mixed ANOVA󰡑from SPSS/Window 12 was used to analyze statistical results. The results showed that the scores of school adjustability were increased significantly in the experimental group comparing with the control group.
