The purpose of this study was to draw the directions of technical high school`s curriculum. For this study, establishment strategies for the New Vocational Education System, innovation strategies for primary and secondary curricula, the current 6th curriculum, and results from survey were analyzed. Based on the results of this study, the following directions of technical high school`s curriculum were drawn: 1. The curriculum should be composed with priority given to basic competences. 2. The curriculum should be composed on the basis of job analysis. 3. General subjects of the curriculum should be composed in consideration of the characteristics of technical high school. 4. The curriculum should be composed by the integration of theoretical and practical subjects. 5. The curriculum should be composed with interrelation to National Vocational Qualification and industrial field. 6. The curriculum should be composed with emphasis on cooprative role sharing between the schools and industrial firms. 7. The curriculum extending autonomous discetionary authority both of the schools and Provincial Educational Boards should be composed. 8. The curriculum securing the learner`s right of choice should be composed. 9. The curriculum articulated to vocational institutes in higher education sector under lifelong education system should be composed.
