언어학습에서 창의적 글쓰기와 영화매체의 효용성 = A Study on Efficiency of Film in Language Learning and Creative Writing

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The efficiency of the class through films is that it can stimulate students` interest that helps students participate actively in classes. In conventional classes, a text is taught in the order of ``listening-reading-speaking-explanation`` so that it has its limitation in promoting students` motivation. However, multi-media itself can arouse their participation motivation. Furthermore, students can understand what they are learning through video even without any teacher`s explanation, and they can actively improve their learning ability. Language education through media is effective for the second language acquisition, and it makes ``listening, speaking, writing`` education available. The 6th curriculum was focused on phonetics of the language and its features as the target of the Korean education, and the 7th curriculum was focused on the medium language in ``listening, speaking, writing``. Therefore, we should notice that the target of the Korean education has broaden to multimedia such as advertisements, films, videos, internet, communication media, broadcastings, newspapers, and magazines. The film is one of the useful media in language education, and they will help teach creative writings. Especially, the film has images that students can easily understand its contents better than in written language. Moreover, the film is worth applying to the class because it can help students acquire an integrated level of language proficiency.
