공영방송과 ‘조직저널리즘’: 조직저널리즘의 제도화 과정과 NHK의 제작 과정에 대한 실태분석 = Public Service Broadcasting and ‘Organization-centered Journalism’: Case Study on the Production Process of the Documentary program in NHK

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this paper, I defined ‘organization-centered journalism’ as a occupational behavioral pattern that the journalist who belonged to the mass media gave priority to the continuation and the development of the media organization rather than practice of the journalism. And then I considered the historic institutionalization process of that journalism, and analyzed the actual situation from a program production process in NHK. After 1990’s, the broadcasting media that
became power by the process when the governing classes are divided changes into a political actor. In such situation, the collision of neoconservatives and the civil society occurred in the issue of history. When political pressure gave it to the production process of the
documentary of NHK which dealt with this problem, the administration decided an editing policy and forced it. By the process, a principle of the organization-centered journalism was used. In conclusion, I showed the rebuilding of ‘the public’ to solve contradiction of the system in the
public service broadcasting and argued based on the concepts such as freedom, equality and solidarity that was the idea of the civil revolution.
