한국 장애아동의 장애진단과 재활치료 실태 및 관련 요인 = A Study on disabled children of Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The survey of the actual living condition and welfare needs about disabled children not rarely exist even now. Thus the concrete analysis for those is judged as very meaningful. Therefore the purpose of this study is to analyze the actual living condition of nationwide disabled children and to present the direction of Korean welfare policy. The results of this study can be summarized as follows.
First, the analysis about the appearance ratio of disabled child and general(population- sociologic) matters is carried out. The tendencies are that the estimated volume of nationwide disabled children is rapidly increased as the past and the gap of the appearance ratio between men and women is extended. On the whole, from this analysis it is shown that the ratio of children not attending school or not highly educated children is high, the household income level of disabled children is low and the ratio of being low-level medical benefits is high.
Secondly, the overall analysis about the welfare needs and actual living condition is carried out. As the results, it is found out that the service for disabled children is generally insufficient and the discrimination between disabled men and women is naturally improved.
In conclusion, for proper establishment of a welfare policy it is found out that the strengthening of health care service, construction of support system for breeding burden reduction of parent, introduction of all sorts of allowance system and efforts for security of implements and facilities are needed.
