베이비붐 세대 퇴직공무원의 자기효능감과 삶의 만족도의 관계: 자아실현과 사회적지지의 매개효과 = The Relationship between Self-efficacy and Life Satisfaction of Retired Public Officials in Baby Boom: The Mediating Effects of Self-Realization and Social Support

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 베이비붐 세대 퇴직공무원의 자기효능감과 삶의 만족도의 관계에서 자아실현과 사회적지지의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 공무원 연금을 수령하고 있는 베이비붐 세대 퇴직공무원 207명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다.
수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0과 PROCESS Macro 4.2를 활용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기효능감, 자아실현, 사회적지지, 삶의 만족도의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 모두 정적상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 자기효능감과 삶의 만족도의 관계에서 자아실현과 사회적지지는 각각 매개효과를 보였다. 셋째, 자기효능감과 삶의 만족도 관계에서 자아실현과 사회적지지는 순차적 매개효과를 보였다. 본 연구는 베이비붐 세대 퇴직공무원의 자기효능감이 자아실현과 사회적지지로 이어지는 순차적 경로를통해 삶의 만족도로 이어진다는 점을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 본 연구의 의의와 노인복지의 실천적 함의, 후속 연구 방향에 대하여 제언하였다.

This study attempted to verify the mediating effect of self-realization and social support in the relationship between self-efficacy and life satisfaction of retired baby boom public officials. To this end, an online survey was conducted on 207 retired baby boom civil servants receiving civil servants pensions. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and SPSS PROCESS Macro 4.2. The results of this study are as follows. First, self-efficacy was positively correlated with self-realization, social support, and life satisfaction. Second, in the relationship between self-efficacy and life satisfaction, self-realization and social support showed mediating effects, respectively. Third, in the relationship between self-efficacy and life satisfaction, self-realization and social support showed sequential mediating effects. This study confirmed that the self-efficacy of retired baby boom public officials leads to life satisfaction through a sequential path leading to self-realization and social support. Based on these results, the significance of this study, practical suggestions for welfare of the elderly, and subsequent research directions were suggested.
