    Today, in spite of increase in concern for strong family, we don't have enough information for that. Therefore ,this study aims to define the concept of strong family, and to review theories and trend of studies in strong family. Through this paper I tried to provide more important information to make study of strong family.
    Strong family is one which admits to family members' growth and development, and continuously maintains adequate interaction. The study in strong family has been conducted actively since the study of Otto, Stinnet and Olson in USA, but our study in strong family is stayed in the beginning, we have to make efforts in theoretical, practical, and political aspects to progress in the study of strong family.
