국내 관광 참여가 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 분석 = An Analysis on Quality of Life by Domestic Travel Participation

The purpose of this study is to analyze the quality of life by domestic travel participation and derive implications to improve the domestic tourism by using 2010 Korea National Tourism Survey data(Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism). As the result of hierarchial regression analysis on the observations 6,145, the number of domestic travel participation exerted the most positive influence upon the quality of life. And the quality of life increases with high income, married person, less aged person. Hence, the findings suggested that tourism policies need to more strategically focus on increase the number of domestic tourism participation in order to increase the quality of life.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

관광활동이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 분석한 선행연구들은 관광활동 외에 삶의 질에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 요인들을 통제하지 않아 관광활동이 삶의 질에 미치는 순수한 영향을 분석하는데 한계가 있었다. 또한 대부분 관광경험이 있는 계층만을 대상으로연구가 이루어져 관광활동에 참여하지 않는 사람들의 삶의 질과 관광활동에 참여한 사람들의 삶의 질을 비교·분석할 수 없었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 관광활동에 참여한 사람과참여하지 않은 사람을 모두 포함하고, 관광활동 외에 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 변수들을통제하여 국내 관광여행 참여가 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 인구통계학적 변수들을 통제하고 공분산분석을 실시한 결과모형은 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, T-test 결과 국내 관광여행 참여 집단과미참여 집단의 삶의 질 조정평균에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타나 국내관광여행 참여가 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 그 다음으로 국내 관광여행 참여가 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해서 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 독립변수로 인구통계학적 변수만을 투입한 분석(모델 1)과 국내 관광여행 참여 변수를 추가 투입한 분석(모델 2)을 실시한 결과 국내 관광여행 참여 변수를 추가한 모델 2의 설명력이 인구통계학적 변수만을 투입한 모델 1보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 모델 2에서 국내 관광여행 참여 횟수가 삶의 질에 미치는 긍정적 영향력이 가장 큰 것으로 확인되었다.
