Purpose: This study examines the longitudinal effects of the disability anti-discrimination law on the job tenure of disabled workers. Concretely, this study analyzes the effects that the prohibition against direct discriminations and the provisions with the reasonable accommodations influence the job tenure of disabled workers. Method: To examine the research question, we have extracted 1,212 paid workers with disabilities from the first to sixth waves of PSED(Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled). In this case, we use the lagged recursive model to analyze the longitudinal effects of non-experience of the direct discrimination and provisions with reasonable accommodations on the job tenure, because the direct discrimination experience and rejections of reasonable accommodations in the previous year would have an effect on the employment status of the disabled workers in the following year. Result: The findings are as follows. Both the non-experience of direct discrimination and the provisions with reasonable accommodations have a significant effect on only one path from the year 2008 to the year 2009, and have not a significant effect on the other paths. Conclusion: This result means that the disability anti-discrimination law influenced job tenure of the disabled workers only from the year 2008 to 2009 and it has not been influenced since the year 2009.
