어휘 지도가 국어과 학력신장에 미치는 영향 : 동음이의어를 중심으로 = A Study on the Effect of Vocabulary Teaching on the Expansion of the Scholastic Ability in Korean Subject:Centering around the words that have the same sound and different meaning

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

To improve the students' vocabulary and learning ability of Korean subject, I analyzed the necessary elements of vocabulary ability, and systematized and applied the teaching method to them in order that the students could infer the meaning in context through the method of association function called power of thought. The specific procedures are as follows.
First, I analyzed the subject of the respective units on the basis of the teaching elements of vocabulary and selected the basic vocabulary to learn.
Second, I worked for the accuracy of meaning and tired to boost the efficiency of vocabulary learning by analyzing the meaning of words which have the same sound and different meaning.
Third, I created 'the method in which the students could master the strange vocabulary by them selves' through the desirable teaching of vocabulary learning.
In this study, I analyzed the characteristics of the vocabulary of Korean textbooks in the curriculum of Korean in the middle school, applied the teaching method to the course of learning, and reached the results as follows.
First, it was effective to teach vocabulary by showing materials centering around the vocabulary and the sentence, which are related to the Korean learning, and making use of the vocabulary.
Second, when taught the course of vocabulary learning in the course of Korean learning, the learners could acquire the unknown vocabulary by themselves and make use of them.
Third, to make the students record strange vocabulary on a form of 'vocabulary workbook' by themselves and after understanding of the vocabulary in context, make use of them through writing a short composition was very effective in the respect of interest in learning and thinking activity.
Finally, vocabulary teaching brought about not only the expansion of the knowledge of Korean vocabulary but also the increase of intellectual understanding and power of expression, so that it improved the students' schoolwork in Korean subject as well as the logical and synthetic thinking activity and the concept recognition ability.
