The moral education curriculum establishes its content framework principles based on Western ethics and the moral psychology derived from it, applying these principles to the design of the subject's content structure. This study was conducted to construct content elements for the moral education curriculum utilizing advanced Confucianism, noting that korean moral tradition includes Eastern ethical elements such as Neo-Confucianism. To this end, the moral behavioral systems envisioned by Confucius, Mencius, and Xunzi were clarified. These moral behavioral systems were then analyzed based on the complementary relationship between essence and existence, establishing a moral behavioral system utilizing advanced Confucianism. Subsequently, based on this moral behavioral system derived from advanced Confucianism, the key elements of Ren (仁) were extracted. These key elements were then categorized from the perspective of competency, thereby constructing the content elements for a moral education curriculum utilizing advanced Confucianism. This study is significant in that it derived the principle for constructing content elements from advanced Confucianism within Eastern ethics and applied it to the design of content elements for a moral education curriculum.
