한국어 학습자의 학습동기가 학업성취도에 미치는 영향: 그릿과 학습몰입의 매개효과를 중심으로 = A Study on the Impact of the Learning Motivation of Korean Language Learners on Academic Achievement: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Grit and Learning Flow

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 외국인 한국어 학습자의 학습동기, 그릿, 학습몰입, 학업성취도의 구조적 관계를 살펴보고, 학습동기와 학업성취도의 관계에서 그릿과 학습몰입의 매개효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국어 학습자의 학습동기는 그릿, 학습몰입, 학업성취도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 한국어 학습자의 그릿은 학습몰입, 학업성취도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 한국어 학습자의 학습몰입은 학업성취도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 한국어 학습자의 학습동기와 학업성취도의 관계에서 그릿과 학습몰입은 유의한 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 한국어 학습자의 학습동기와 학습몰입의 관계에서 그릿은 유의한 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 한국어 학습자의 그릿과 학업성취도의 관계에서 학습몰입은 유의한 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 한국어 교육의 질을 재고하기 위해선 학업성취도가 높은 학습자 특성에 집중해 학습 역량을 향상시킬 수 있는 구체적인 대안을 마련할 필요성이 있음을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationship between the learning motivation, grit, learning flow, and academic achievement of Korean language learners and analyze the mediating effect of grit and learning flow in the relationship between learning motivation and academic achievement. The findings of this study were as follows. First, the learning motivation of Korean language learners had a significant and positive impact on grit, learning flow, and academic achievement. Second, the grit of Korean language learners had a significant and positive impact on the learning flow and academic achievement. Third, the learning flow of Korean language learners had a significant and positive impact on academic achievement. Fourth, in the relationship between learning motivation and academic achievement of Korean language learners, grit and learning flow had a significant mediating effect. Fifth, in the relationship between the learning motivation and learning flow of Korean language learners, grit had a significant mediating effect. Sixth, in the relationship between grit and academic achievement of Korean language learners, learning flow had a significant mediating effect. This study indicates that, in order to improve the quality of Korean language education, it is necessary to focus on the learner attributes of those with higher academic achievement to provide a specific alternative to enhance learning capabilities.
