This paper proposes the to analyze and evaluate the system importance of the features of a software system by using Systems Features Analysis (SFA) and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). SFA will be used in deriving the specific features of a particular software system while the AHP is a decision-theory model that will be utilized in evaluating and finding out the expected and actual importance of the derived systems features with respect to the development process. An implementation and use of the proposed method is then presented to show its viability.
