증례 : 심장자가이식술로 치료한 좌심방의 원발성 악성섬유조직구종 1예 = Case Reports : A case of cardiac malignant fibrous histiocytoma treated by cardiac autotransplantation

국문 초록 (Abstract)

원발성 악성 심장 종양은 매우 드물며 완치를 위해서는 무엇보다 종양의 완전절제가 중요하다. 악성 섬유조직구종은 악성 심장 종양 가운데에서도 드문 종양으로서, 저자 등은 국내에서는 처음 시도된 것으로 파악된 심장자가이식술을 시행하여 종양을 완전절제하고 보조항암치료를 시행한 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Primary cardiac tumors are rare findings and they are mostly benign. Malignant primary cardiac tumors make up 25% of the primary cardiac tumors and most of them are sarcomas. Malignant fibrous histiocytoma (MFH) is the most common soft tissue sarcoma in late adulthood, and it is an extremely rare sub-type of cardiac sarcoma. It is known that MFH displays a poor clinical course with complete resection being the most important prognostic factor for survival. We described here the case of a malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the heart in a 54-year-old woman who presented with dyspnea. The tumor was treated by mass excision via cardiac explantation and autotransplantation followed by adjuvant chemotherapy. This is the first report of cardiac autotransplantation in Korea.(Korean J Med 73:223-227, 2007)
