新生國의 政治的 리더쉽 = A Study on the Political Leadership in Emerging Nations

1. Leadership means an ability and a skill of leader who induce a spontaneous function for members of organization to his object and leaders each membership for corporation among members in order to bring the identification of organization.
In regard to study the political leadership, we must interpret the concept of leadership in brood sense. In other words, it contains that of the mass-manipulation, the polder rule and the leadership in the concept of political leadership.
2. We can express a human being as a psychological animal as a social animal and a political animal, therefor, a leader who wants to lead a group member has to understand the sociopsychological basis of a man.
(1) Traits approach
A Leader holds an excellent ability of leadership that a ordinary person has not it. The important elements for the traits of a leader, as the great man theory, are the faculty of using symbol freely and the organizing ability.
(2) Situational approach
The Leader has not to display his leadership without considering of the situational approach. Up to date the tendencey of studying Leadership tends to pursue of the situations.
3. In emerging nations political leadership have changed by that three type.
(1) The first time is borrowed system of democracy by western Europe.
(2) The second time is charismatic one man rule.
(3) The last type is military Coup de´tat
① The military as constitutional caretaker Burma, Turkey, Syria, Guatemala, Venezuela, Peru, Sudan, Columbia.
② The military as spearhead of reform or revolution,
Pakistan, Egypt, El Sal-va-dor.
③ The military as backer of civilian government,
Indonesia, Brazil, Dominican, Ec-ua-dor, Philippine.
4. The types of political leadership
(1) The democratic leadership political democracies.
(2) The manipulative leadership tutelary democracies.
(3) The ruling leadershp modernizing military oligarchies.
5. Conclusion
New type of political leadership in emerging nations.
