본 연구는 KAMD작전센터 지휘통제체계와 각 탐지 및 요격체계의 공통 기반 운용환경을 효과적으로 통합시키고 다층화된 요격체계 간 실시간 교전협조 기능을 추가로 지원함으로써, 복합 다층방어 작전의 효율성을 제고시키는 방향으로 현재 KAMD 운용체계에서 구현이 필요한 성능개량 고려사항을 제안한다. 이를 위해 미군의 미사일방어 지휘통제체계에 관한 최근 구축사례와 성능개량 동향을 참고하여, KAMD작전센터 중심 지휘통제체계에서 운용구조의 개선 요구사항을 도출하고 한국군 지휘통제체계 발전방안의 선행 연구결과와 연계한 성능개량 방안을 종합적으로 검토한다

This paper discusses significant implementation considerations for modernization of KAMD(Korea Air and Missile Defense) command and control information system to provide battery commanders with re- al-time cooperative engagement capability by combining real-time data from multiple sensors and inter- ceptors into an integrated operation picture. These will facilitate better battlefield communication and com- mand and control for effectively planning, executing, and managing multi-layered ballistic missile defense operations in the Korean theater.
