공간 디자인 기획을 위한 가치 속성 요소의 체계화 = Systematization of Value Attribute Element for Space Design Planning

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Space planning is a work of determining the character thatis expected from a space or the space must have. Thisis an important and early step in the project, but recognitionof importance is not enough. However, from few yearsago, the object of the space design project expand to publicareas, and contact with architecture, landscape, andenvironment, importance of the space design planning isgrowing. Experts from various fields have been put intothe planning to demonstrate their capabilities includingdesigners. Space has the characteristic that it should beplanned considering the many complex attributes of space.
One of the most difficult problems that designers face whenplanning a space is the question of which of the variousand complex elements and attributes of space should beapplied to the scope of planning.
This study intends to identify the items, elements, andattributes that a designer must consider when planninga space and clarify the relationship between these itemsin order to maximize the capability of the designer. Forthis, the following were considered. First, the excess ofelements to consider among the problems that arise duringthe planning process and the problems generated by thecomplex relationship between the elements were examined.
Second, classifications were made and applied such aswhether a term is an element, the attributes of an element,and the relationship and interaction between elements asa measure to cope with the excess and complexity of spatialelement. Finally, the elements that constitute the value ofthe space were derived for space planning to clarify therelationship with other elements and the spatial valueelements were systematized. This study has implicationsfor clarifying the relationship between a great number ofterms, elements, attributes, and objects related with spaceplanning.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

공간 디자인 기획은 프로젝트의 가장 초기에 다루어지며 공간의 성격과 기대되는 가치를 규정하는 중요한 단계이다. 하지만 설계 단계에 비하여 그 중요성의 인지가 부족하고 체계화된 시스템의 적용이 이루어지지 않아 왔다.
수년전부터 공간 디자인 프로젝트의 대상이 실외 및 공공 등으로 확대, 건축 및 조경, 환경 분야 등과의 접점으로 확장됨에 따라 기획 단계의 중요성에 대한 인지가 점점 커지고 있으며, 디자이너를 포함한 다양한 분야의 전문가들이 기획단계에투입되어 역량을 발휘하고 있다. 공간 디자인 기획은 공간의수많은 복잡한 속성들을 배려하여 기획되어야 하는 특성을 가지는데, 이 때 디자이너가 가지게 되는 수많은 어려운 점들 중한 가지는 공간이 가지는 다양하고 복합적인 요소와 속성들중 어떠한 항목을 어떠한 형식으로 기획의 범위에 적용시켜야하는지에 대한 문제이다. 이러한 문제는 디자이너가 그 해결영역의 모호함과 복잡함 등으로 인하여 지엽적인 가치에 치중된 불완전한 기획안을 만들거나 또는 전문지식이 없음에도 불구하고 시공 같은 심화된 전문영역을 포함하는 기획안을 만드는 경우를 야기한다.
본 연구는 디자이너가 공간을 기획할 때 배려해야하는 항목,요소, 속성들은 어떠한 것들이 있고, 이러한 항목들의 관계성을 명확히 하여, 공간 디자인 기획자, 또는 디자이너의 역량을최대화하기 위함에 있다. 공간 디자인 기획에 포함되는 공간요소들을 체계화 하려면 우선 공간 전체에 포함되는 요소들을고찰하고, 그 중 공간 디자인 기획은 어떠한 요소들을 다루어야 하는지를 명확하게 하여야 한다. 이를 위하여, 첫 번째, 기획 시 발생하는 문제 중 고려해야할, 요소의 과량과 그 요소들간의 복잡한 관계에 의하여 발생하는 문제들에 대하여 고찰하였다. 두 번째, 공간요소의 과량과 복잡성에 대응 방안으로 용어가 요소인지, 요소가 가지는 속성인지, 요소들 간의 관계인지, 요소들 간의 작용인지 등으로 구분하여 정의하였다. 마지막으로, 공간 기획을 위한 공간의 가치를 형성하는 요소들을추출하여 타 요소들과의 관계를 명확히 하여 공간 가치요소들을 체계화 하였다. 본 연구는 수 많은 공간기획과 관련한 용어, 요소, 속성, 개체 등의 관계를 명확히 했다는 데에 그 의의를 찾을 수 있다.
