Safety and serviceability of high-rise buildings subjected to wind loads are evaluated in terms of two types of structural responses : maximum lateral displacement and acceleration can be level. A number of researchers have used GPS with relatively lower sampling frequencies to measure structural responses of high-rise buildings. In the researches, The effect of sampling frequencies of GPS on the measurement of structural responses are neglected. In this paper, the measured structural responses from conventional techniques using laser displacement meter sensor and accelerometer sensor and GPS with sampling frequency of 20Hz are compared.
