    This research is to analyse the content of persuading writing instruction based on the concept of rationality. The tendency of rationality`s contents in revised curriculum emphasize instrumental rationality for the lower grades and procedure rationality for the higher grades. In other words, students are forced to communicate what they think with writings in case of the below grades, and they are forced to present what their grounds are in case of higher grades. In revised curriculum, contents of writing for persuasion are to communicate clearly what they think and to present reasonable grounds. In this situation, only objective maintenance and the course of demonstration are emphasized. In writing education still the problem of value rationality seems to leave after logic of writing. Therefore accomplishment of persuasion writing need to accept inclusive concept of rationality not only instrumental rationality but also of value rationality.
