Heat pump system using CO2 refrigerant was designed to develop a new air-conditioning system of an electric vehicle. In this paper, the indoor heat exchanger of the heat pump system was analyzed. The cooling capacity has been done with various operating conditions, which are quite matching the actual vehicle"s driving conditions such as different compressor speed, outdoor inlet fontal air velocities, air flow rates and temperatures passing through an indoor heat exchanger using the precision CO2 calorimeter. The experimental results can be used to evaluate the effect of system design changes on system performance as well as the development of a highly efficient heat pump system for cooling.
