한일 대학 유도 선수들의 생활실태 및 진로선택에 관한 비교 연구 = A Comparative Study About the Life Style and Professional Plan between Japan and Korean Judo College Players

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research analyzed the life style and professional plan between Japan and Korean Judo players. On the basis of this comparison, this research figures out the various problems that players have and give some help for these players to choose their right path after retirement.
This survey indicated that Korean players have worse attitude in classes. There was very clear difference between Japanese and Korean educational system. Aside from Japanese players who take all the regular classes, Korean players had low class attendance due to many contests and joint training and this Korean situation made Korean players have many difficulties in choosing their future path. The other problem is the military service. In Korea, most men have military obligation and this period is usually in their twenties which is the best period for players. Thus, Korean players want to broaden number of Sangmu, which is military physic group. Also what Korean players wanted from the community, business or nation was installment of pro-team, PR for unpopular sports or education for some professional certificate. Its important for players to focus on the training to raise the statue of the nation and other cause. However, this system can block for players to have the second path after their retirement. So, players need to concentrate not only on training but also on education. With players interest, scientific system and policy for players should be followed in the national level.
