우리나라 중,고령자가구의 자산 및 소득불평등도 분해에 관한 연구 = Study on inequality decomposition of assets and income of middle and old aged household in our country

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한국노동패널조사 자료를 대상으로 우리나라 중·고령층의 자산 및 소득분포를 파악하는 동시에 자산 및 소득 불평등분해결과를 비교하였다. 먼저, 중·고령가구의 가구유형별 자산 및 소득불평등도의 차이를 측정한 결과, 자산불평등도가 소득불평등도보다 상대적으로 높은 수치를 보여 선행 연구의 일반가구 유형에서와 유사한 결과를 보였다. 한편, 중고령가구를 가구유형, 종사상지위, 거주지역, 소득·자산분위별로 구분할 때 일반적으로 소득 및 자산축적여건이 열악한 독신가구, 소규모자영 및 미취업가구, 그리고 기타지역(비광역시)거주가구, 소득·자산수준이 낮은 경우에 순자산 및 소득 불평등도가 시간이 흐름에 따라 점차 악화되고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 이는 중·고령가구 중에서도 노후 소득수준이 낮거나 자산축적이 적었던 집단들이 노후에 더욱 분배구조가 악화될 수 있음을 보여주는 것으로, 이들 집단에 대한 지속적인 정책적 지원이 필요함을 시사한다고 하겠다.

This study grasped our middle and old aged assets and income distribution and compared the result of decomposing inequality of assets and income at the same time, using Korean Labor & Income Panel Study(Klips) data. Firstly, as a result of measuring the difference between assets inequality and income inequality at each middle and old aged household type, the same result as the previous studies was showed, as assets inequality is relatively higher than income inequality. While, it was gained that when middle and old aged households are classified according to household type, position in business, residential district, income and net-assets, net-assets and income inequality, net-asset and income inequality become worse generally as time flows in case of single household where income and asset accumulation given condition is bad, small scale business and non-employed household, household in other districts(not-metropolitan cities) and household having low income. It shows that group which has low income at old age or accumulated assets a little can have the worse distribution structure at old age. Therefore, it is suggested that the continuous politic support to this group is needed.
