국문 초록 (Abstract)

2022 개정 역사과 교육과정 연구진은 공통과목으로 중학교 ‘역사’, 고등학교 ‘한국사’를 개발하였으며, 고등학교 선택과목으로는 일반선택 과목으로 ‘세계사’, 진로선택 과목으로 ‘동아시아 역사 기행’, 융합선택 과목으로 ‘역사로 탐구하는 현대 세계’와 ‘역사 콘텐츠와의 대화’를 개발하였다. 그러나 교육부는 여론을 수렴한다는 명목으로 임의로 시안 개발진의 시안에다 ‘자유민주주의’와 전근대 영역을 추가하는 등 연구진의 자율성을 심각하게 훼손하였다. 이런 과정을 거쳐 나온 최종안은 같은 과목 안에서도 내용이 서로 충돌되기도 하며, 계열성을 완전히 무너뜨려 버렸다. 게다가 차후 마련된 ‘편찬 준거안’에는 교육과정 대강화의 원칙에 따라 사라졌던 ‘학습 요소’가 부활하게 되면서 역사과만 기이한 형태를 띠게 되었다.
또한, 연구진이 개발했던 융합선택 과목인 ‘역사 콘텐츠와의 대화’는 결국 최종 고시안에 포함되지 못했다. 선택과목은 2025년부터 적용되는 고교 학점제에 따라 분량 및 과목명이 조정되었다. 교육부가 발표한 총론 고시안에는 ‘동아시아사 주제 탐구’로 제시되었지만, 연구진은 진로선택 과목의 성격에 맞게 ‘동아시아 역사 기행’으로 수정하여 개발하였다.
차후 교육과정 개발에서는 여러 역사 관련 학회와 역사교육 관련 학회, 교사 및 학생, 여론 등을 충분히 수렴하여 개발되어야 한다.

In this study, the overall process until the final announcement of the 2022 revised history curriculum was summarized. The Ministry of Education seriously undermined the autonomy of the researchers by arbitrarily adding ‘liberal democracy’ and pre-modern areas to the draft of the draft development team under the pretext of collecting public opinion. In addition, during the development of the curriculum, a separate research team was organized independently. The final draft, which came out through this process, sometimes conflicts with each other even within the same subject, and completely destroyed the sequence. In the subsequent ‘compilation standard’, the ‘learning element’ which had disappeared in accordance with the principle of simplified curriculum system was revived again and it took a strange form only with history. Meanwhile, the 2022 revised history curriculum developed “the World History” as a general elective subject, “the East Asian History Travel” as a career elective subject, “the Modern World Exploring as History” and “the Dialogue with Historical content” as a amalgamation elective subject. Sufficient discussion is needed on the content system, key ideas, and competencies presented in each subject. In addition, in the future curriculum development, it should be developed by sufficiently collecting various history-related conferences, history education-related conferences, teachers, students, and public opinion.
