This study analyzes job satisfaction, employment stability, and job creation strategies for forest healing instructors, based on survey data and policy materials presented at the National Assembly forum on “Strategies for Establishing Job Creation Models in the Forest Healing Industry” held in March 2025. The findings indicate that overall job satisfaction among forest healing instructors remains below average, with particular dissatisfaction regarding low wages and unstable employment contracts. Such conditions raise doubts about long-term career sustainability and suggest a potential for higher turnover intention. In contrast, respondents expressed strong recognition of the profession’s social contribution and personal fulfillment, underscoring the intrinsic value of the occupation. Drawing on these results, the study identifies improvements in work conditions, establishment of fair compensation systems, and reinforcement of social value awareness as key factors in enhancing job satisfaction. Policy alternatives include the introduction of mandatory placement systems in public institutions, expansion of long-term contracts, support for start-up initiatives, and continuous professional training programs. Furthermore, the study emphasizes that the forest healing industry can evolve into a sustainable job creation model through convergence with health, welfare, and tourism sectors. Ultimately, this research provides foundational insights for future policy design and institutional development in the field.
