그림책을 활용한 통합적 수학활동 프로그램이 유아의 수학개념 발달에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 그림책을 활용한 통합적 수학 활동 프로그램이 만 4세 유아의 수학개념 발달에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고, 이를 토대로 유아 수학 교육의 기초 자료를 제공하여 유아의 수학 개념을 향상시킬 수 있는 교수 방안을 찾고자 하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 연구대상은 K시에 소재한 유치원 만 4세아 중 학습준비도 검사를 통해 동질집단으로 판명된 유아 50명으로 실험집단 유아(25명)들은 그림책을 활용한 통합적 수학활동 프로그램을 전개하고, 통제집단 유아(25명)들은 그림책을 읽어주고 생활주제 중심의 통합 활동을 실시한 후 수학개념 검사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 생활주제 중심의 통합 활동을 실시한 통제집단보다 그림책을 활용한 통합적 수학활동 프로그램이 실시된 실험집단 유아의 수학개념 발달이 더 증진된 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this study, it was examined how integrated mathematical activities using picture books affect on the development of mathematical concept of preschool children. Fifty 4-year-old children of kindergarten gained similar score in the readiness test participated in the study. They were divided into 25 experimental and 25 control group. The integrated mathematical activities using picture books were implemented to experimental group whereas a general activities using picture book reading were applied to control group. The results show integrated mathematics activities of using a picture books significantly affect on the improvement of the mathematical concept of preschool children.
