The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has enforced NOx, SOx, and PM emission regulations through the International Convention on the Prevention of Pollution from Vessels (MAPOL, 73/78 ANNEX VI). As a response method to environmental regulations for ships, LNG is used as fuel. Accordingly, the demand for LNG as a fuel for ships is rapidly increasing, and the demand for key parts for LNG bunkering to store and transport it is expected to increase significantly.
