This study analyzed 76 marine education papers published in KCI registrations from 2000 to 2025 as LDA topic modeling. As a result, domestic marine education research was divided into 7 topics. As the largest proportion, practical training of the maritime police was 27.63%, which was about 28% of the total. Marine safety and ship operation education (15.79%), marine sports experience education (15.79%), marine tourism safety culture (13.16%), and marine environment education (10.53%) followed, and research on marine experience career education (7.89%) and marine awareness school education (9.21%) was relatively insufficient. In t-SNE visualization, the seven topics were clearly separated spatially. It proves that marine education is an independent research area with multidisciplinary and convergent characteristics. As a result of the time series analysis, in the early days, marine safety education was centered on law enforcement, and in recent years, it is evolving into integrated marine literacy education that encompasses environment, experience, and career. In particular, after 2020, research related to marine experience career education has emerged, and it was found that the research area is becoming multi-layered.
