    As information technology becomes a crucial part of today’s organizations, the preparation of such IT disaster and improving ability of organizations’ IT recovery is a key factor for successful business. Thus, this study propose to the research model examining the effect of intrinsic factor on the successful preparation of IT disaster and the moderating effect of organizational supports between the intrinsic factor and the successful preparation of IT disaster. The proposed research model includes IT Budgets, Repeated Drill, Completed Backup, Level of Disaster Preparation Training for Employees, Previous Experience with IT Disaster, and Evolutional Leadership as intrinsic factor. Results from 246 organizations practicing IT disaster program showed that all constructs in intrinsic factor had a significant influence on he successful preparation of IT disaster. Further, the moderating effect of Organizational Supports had a significant effect on all paths. Results of this study is expected to be a reference for a subsequent study associated with IT disaster at organizational viewpoints.
