다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract) kakao i 다국어 번역

This article analyzes Bataille’s concept of “Anti-Architecture” in his early texts, which is along the lines of his main ideas, and examines the way this concept inspires the architectural theory of Bernard Tschumi. In the magazine Documents, for which Bataille served as an editor, he wrote several articles representing his perspectives on art, architecture and urbanism. This article also discusses Bataille’s main ideas of deconstructing architecture: For instance, the concept of “Anti-Architecture,” related with Bataille’s main concepts -- formless, excess consumption and heterogeneity, transgression and erotism -- has affected the theory of Tschumi. The architect got to know Bataille through Denis Hollier’s Against Architecture: The Writings of George Bataille. After that, he expanded and connected this concept with his own architectural theory: the concept of space, events, and movement in The Manhattan Transcripts. In addition, Tschumi expanded this concept by designing the Parc de la Villette Project. This article explores the way Tschumi works with Bataille’s concept of “Anti-Architecture” in his architectural theory and practice.
