대구지하철참사 유가족의 심리사회적 적응을 위한 인지행동적 위기상담의 효과 = Effectiveness of the Cognitive-Behavioral Crisis Counseling for the Families Which have Lost Their Members through a Calamity in Daegu Subway

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to construct a brief group intervention program for the families which have lost their member(s) through a calamity in Daegu Subway. In particular, it is through various comparisons with the former intervention programs that we have constructed the program in terms of cognitive-behavioral therapy, which can help the families get more sufficient control of their own lives. Considering the papers concerning crisis intervention programs that have been published so far, the focus of major programs lies on the medical, material, and financial supports without mention of psychological and emotional ones. For example, in case of recent subway conflagration in Daegu, every effort was made to support those involved in the calamity only in terms of the former support system. Any professional psychological and emotional intervention was not provided for the families who suffered from the accident. The subjects of this study were 17 families which have lost their member(s). With one-group pretest-posttest design, the 10-sessions intensive group counseling program was provided. Six instruments (Impact of Event Scale, Beck Depression Inventory, State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, State-Trait Anger Scale, The Ways of Coping Checklist, & Social Support Scale) were administered to the subjects before and after the program. The data was analyzed with paired samples t-test. Results indicated that a significant difference was detected in the all checked variables. The results of this study suggested the overall effects of applying the cognitive-behavioral crisis counseling to families which have lost their member(s). In other words, the cognitive-behavioral crisis counseling has contributed to increasing the abilities for such families to overcome the critical experience and helped them to learn sufficient coping strategies with various stress situations.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 인지행동적 위기상담 프로그램이 대구지하철참사 유가족들의 심리사회적 적응에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 대구지하철참사 유가족들로 위기상담 프로그램에 참가를 희망하는 유가족 17명을 대구지하철참사 대책위원회 및 유가족회로부터 추천을 받아 선정하였다. 단일집단 사전-사후검사 설계를 채택하여 2박3일에 걸친 집중적 집단상담 프로그램이 총 10회기에 걸쳐 실시되었다. 연구에 사용된 검사도구는 사건충격성 척도, Beck 우울 척도, 상태-특성 불안 척도, 상태-특성 분노 척도, 대처방식 척도, 사회적 지지 척도였다. 자료 분석은 사전-사후 검사에서 얻은 점수를 사용하여 각 요인별 t-test (paired-samples t-test)를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 인지행동적 위기상담 프로그램은 유가족들의 스트레스 대처방식, 사건충격(침습), 사회적지지 추구, 상태-특성 분노, 상태-특성 불안, 심리적 우울 등 측정한 모든 변인에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
