학교 글쓰기 교육의 몇 가지 문제점과 개선 방안 = The Problems and The Improvement of Writing Education in School

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is about problems in essay writing teaching in our education. Through this study I would like to suggest better ways for teaching essay writing.

In this study, I examined essay writings done by middle school students, high school students, university students and also adults in order to find out the realities of our essay writing education. Through this examination, the problems of present essay writing education is like thess ; evaluation oriented, conventional way to start an essay, post reading activities focused on summarization and object oriented writings. In order to solve these problems, I would like to suggest some other ways to teach essay writings such as feedback focused, creative ways to start an essay, working more on impression and feelings rather summarization and trying to express students' own feelings and thoughts-in other words, appreciation. After all, the improvement of our essay writing education is about creative and expressive writing.
