수사적 읽기와 수사적 글쓰기 - 단락 분석과 배열의 문제를 중심으로 - = Rhetorical Reading and Rhetorical Writing - Centered on the Problems of Paragraph Analysis and Arrangement

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

It is time to explore an efficient educational methodology of reading and writing in college education. In relation with the philosophy of college education that is oriented toward the cultivation of critical human characters, persuasion through argumentation finds its place as an important value in the college education of reading and writing. Thus, a Rhetorical consideration oriented toward persuasive conversation is necessary for the education of reading and writing. Meanwhile, as they are indirect conversation with texts as their medium, reading and writing have accurate communication between the writer and the reader as one of their significant issues. Here, the problem of paragraph as a segmental unit of meaning arises. Traditionally, Rhetoric pays attention to technique of arranging the grounds of an argument with respect to argumentation. Related to the construction of a discourse, it is specified through frames of paragraphs in a text. Seen in this way, a paragraph eventually serves as a basic framework of Rhetorical argumentation. Thus, noticing the issue of paragraph as a functional body, this paper the significance of paragraphs’meaning and roles by verifiably looking at specific examples of paragraphs, which work in communicative situations of reading and writing.
