고유어 접두사 설정의 기준 = The Study on the Principle Applied for Selecting Prefixes of Korean Native Word

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to get the category of proper prefixes in Korean native words, and to solve the problems of selecting prefixes in Standard Korean Dictionary, by inspecting adequacy of the principle applied for selecting prefixes of Korean native word. The present, the category of prefixes of Korean native word in Standard Korean dictionary, is confused with the others Korean dictionaries. The reason of this appearance seem to the problem that the principle applied for selecting prefixes of Korean native word, is not sure. Through looking into the established study about the principle applied for selecting prefixes of Korean native word, I propose principles as the following. Firstly, it is the dependency in morphologic construction. Secondly, it is the limitation in combination with other elements. And thirdly, the absence of same forms that exist as a root of word. Specially, the first and second principles are very important. By inspecting the category of prefixes in Standard Korean Dictionary according to these principles, I found that some of the category is difficult to admit as prefixes.
