This study aimed at examining how literary texts can be used in the Korean classroom. In order to accomplish the goal of this study, the two research questions were structured: 1) What kinds of benefits literary texts can provide for the EFL Koran college students while they were involved in reading literary texts, 2) Some pedagogical comments and implications would be discussed when implementing the use of literature in the practical classroom. Through the use of literature, teachers and students can ask open-ended questions, debate and challenge one another, make notes that reflect readers' ideas, and read aloud of favorite passages. Additionally, they can take responsibility as readers and constructing meaning together within the given group, and think critically.
