    Korea has been the traditional confucianism nation. Korea has practiced filial piety not only through emphasizing morality and thought, but also through expressing the artistic charming of literature and picture. Many literature and picture had been manufactured which collected tale and paintings about filial piety since Korea (高麗) dynasty. The example of these are Samgookyusa(三國遺事), Isipsahyodo (二十四孝圖), Hyohaengrok (孝行錄), Uwooyadam (於于野談), Samganghaengsildo(三綱行實圖), Soksamganghaesildo(續三綱行實圖). These performances were affected by the filial acts story of China and Buddhism. But the most of research about these performances in Korea has been carried out without considering this historic background. The main purpose of this research is to clarify the current and characteristic of filial acts story in Korea through analysing these performances.
