Statistic error is to be classified into two part, one part is a sample error and the other is a nonsampling error.
The errors which to be arises solely from the random sampling variation that is present when n of the units are measured instead of the complete population of N units are called sampling error and the errors which accur during the specification for the conduct of surveys are called nonsampling errors, particular be concerned about the nonsampling error.
commonly known nonsampling errors includ specification error, coverage error, response error, nonresponse error and processing error.
In survey the elimination or reduction of nonresponse is very important.
In this study an attempt is made summarize some of the procedures which can be used for reduction of nonresponse.
