    This study analyzed the event participants' characteristics of 2002 Korea Floritopia held in Anmyon-do in order to contribute to the success of regional government's fair event. The characteristics are featured as follows;
    First, the event participants had influenced on the regional tourism advancement in the economic growth and the society development in the area of Anmyon-do.
    Second, the characteristics of the event participants revealed several facts. The mass media was a source of the information. For the transportation, family and relatives took their own cars, while friends and co-workers in the company did sight seeing buses to the floritopia site. They had a tendency to spend most time in sightseeing the floritopa exhibition halls with one-night stay at Anmyon-do. They had high satisfaction at the exhibition event tourism in the Floritopia, and they also showed the strong will to revisit the site when they get the opportunity.
