국어교육 질적 연구에서의 내러티브 분석 방법 탐구 = Inquiry of Narrative Analysis in Korean Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims at developing systematic ways of the qualitative research to scrutinize times and places where Korean language education occurs.
Based on the Riessman’s approach of narrative analysis, a various typologic ways of narrative analysis were introduced as follows: 1) Thematic analysis; 2) Systematic analysis; 3) Interactive analysis and others. The interactive analysis of narratives was demonstrated by using an example of data systematically analyzed in a previous research.
As a result, it reveal that the systematic analysis of narratives or narrative analysis allows in-depth inquiry to see how discourses of significant others are transacted and negotiated in the sociocultural process of narrative construction as a student’s literacy practices as well as identity construction.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

국어교육 방법론에 대한 연구는 연구의 내용을 정교화하는 데 도움을 줄 뿐만 아니라 새로운 연구 영역을 탐색하기 위한 전초로 작용한다는 점에서 국어교육의 학문적 지평 확장에 중요한 의미가 있다.
본 연구는 국어교육 질적 연구 방법론의 체계화를 위한 노력의 일환으로 내러티브 분석 유형을 알아보고 그의 실제적 적용 방안을 상호작용적 내러티브 분석법을 통해 살펴보았다. 내러티브 연구를 통해 국어교육 실천 주체인 학생과 교사의 성장 이야기를 지속적으로 생성하고 수집하여 듣는 것은 그들의 성장과 국어교육학의 성장을 함께 도모할 수 있는 중요한 방법이 될 수 있다. 이런 점에서 내러티브 분석법이 국어교육의 학문적 논리에 타당하고 전용 가능한 방법으로 활용될 필요가 있다.
내러티브 분석법의 다양화와 체계화는 궁극적으로 국어교육 실천의 다채로운 국면을 연구할 수 있도록 촉진하는 데 역할 할 수 있을 것이다.
