폭력예방을 위한 강남구 청소년 환경연구 = on the Environment around Youth in the Kangnam - Ku

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This is a kind of serial study of `Research on the School Violence among Adolescents in the Kangnam-Ku` (Choi, 1997) which was performed last year. This study has adopt somewhat microspic approach by focusing on the specific area of Kangnam-Ku and dividing it into the seven parts to catch the environmental problems in detail, which caused the youth violences. For this study, survey method was adopted. The main question in this survey included the students` experiences of being injured by school violences which mean physical violences, extortion of money, and sexual abuse. And it also included the degrees of Students` Keeing touch with the unhelpful environments. These meant the degrees of drinking or useing of unhelpful substances such as drugs, cigarette or alcohol and etc., or visiting unhelful facilities Such as a bar, a pub, or reading unhelpful books and watching unhelpful video. The survey group used in this study include 580 middle and high school students living in Kangnam-Ku. Major findings from this study were analyzed in Chap 5, 6 of this paper. Based on the major findings, the 7 sorts of maps were drawn. The maps show the crime-ridden districts and specific unhelpful facilities for youth in each of seven parts of Kangnam-Ku.
