전라남도와 고치현의 26년간의 행정 기록 - 한일 지방 정부 간의 선린 교류 사례 연구 - = Administrative Records of Jeollanamdo Province and Kochi Prefecture for 26 Years

In this study, we examined the progress and significance of exchanges between local governments in Korea and Japan, focusing on administrative materials published in Kochi Prefecture, Japan. Specifically, how have the exchanges between South Jeolla Province and Kochi Prefecture developed over the past 26 years? We considered the significance of good neighborhood exchanges between Korea and Japan.
Exchanges between local governments in the two countries from 1997–2023 have been upgraded three times via agreements and expanded to various fields. Furthermore, categories of exchanges include exchanges or “vows” to strengthen cooperation in the future. exchanges between civilians, and cultural, artistic, and industrial exchanges.
Jeollanam-do and Kochi Prefecture are important examples of future-oriented Korea-Japan relations, as they have focused on creating talent for local exchanges between Korea and Japan through youth exchanges and comprehensive high school visits.
