성인애착과 사회불안의 관계: 기본 심리적 욕구 만족과 경험적 회피의 매개효과 = The Relation Between Adult Attachment and Social Anxiety: The Mediation Effect of Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction and Experiential Avoidance

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 성인애착과 사회불안의 관계에서 기본 심리적 욕구 만족과 경험적 회피의 매개 효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대학생 361명을 대상으로 성인애착, 사회불안, 기본 심리적 욕구 만족, 경험적 회피를 측정하였고, 구조방정식 모형을 적용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 측정모형은 자료에 적합한 것으로 나타났고, 변인간 모든 경로를 설정한 가설모형이 경쟁모형에 비해 더 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성인애착과 사회불안의 관계에서 애착불안은 사회불안에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않지만, 애착회피는 사회불안에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 성인애착과 사회불안의 관계에서 기본 심리적 욕구 만족의 매개 효과는 유의하지 않았다. 셋째, 성인애착과 사회불안의 관계에서 경험적 회피의 매개 효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 성인애착과 사회불안의 관계에서 기본 심리적 욕구 만족과 경험적 회피의 이중매개 효과가 유의하게 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 상담 실제에 대한 시사점 및 후속 연구에 대한 제안을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of basic psychological needs satisfaction and experiential avoidance on relations between adult attachment and social anxiety. For that purpose, a survey was taken with 361 college students and it measured adult attachment, social anxiety, basic psychological needs satisfaction and experiential avoidance. Collected data were analyzed with the structural equation model. As a result, the measuring model turned out to fit the data. The research model that set a path among all the variables showed better fitness than the comparative model. The major research findings were as follows: First, as for the effects of adult attachment on social anxiety attachment anxiety had no direct effects on social anxiety, but attachment avoidance had direct effects on it. Second, basic psychological needs satisfaction had no significant mediating effects on relations between adult attachment and social anxiety. Third, experiential avoidance had significant mediating effects on relations between adult attachment and social anxiety. Specifically, it had complete mediating effects on relations between attachment anxiety and social anxiety and partial mediating effects on relations between attachment avoidance and social anxiety. Fourth, basic psychological needs satisfaction and experiential avoidance had significant dual mediating effects on relations between adult attachment and social anxiety. Based on those findings, the study discussed their implications for counseling practice and suggestions for follow-up study.
