The purpose of this research is first to clarify some characteristics of students’ use of i-adjective on essays submitted within a semester (4 months), and then to probe the influence of teacher’s error feedback, both take place in JFL classroom environment of a Korean university.
As a result of analysis, cases such as 1) Excessive reliance on a specific conjugations, 2) Systematic mutation of errors, and 3) Individuality of errors, were surfaced. Also, as a result of teacher’s error feedback, some students corrected their use of i-adjective successfully, others could not correct but became aware of their errors, while no influence was visualized on some students.
Thus in conclusion, there would certainly be a necessity to ameliorate over-populated JFL classroom environment.
