This paper describes the measurement of antenna factor using HP 9000 series computer and IEEE-488 interface bus in OATS (Open Area Test Site) of KRISS( Korea Research Institute of Standards and science). In this measurement, the droop of antenna element and the nonuniformal field of receiving antenna surrounding have an effect on antenna factor. This paper describes variations of antenna factor by droop of antenna element and nonuniformal field of antenna element surrounding. All control and data acquisition were done by computer automatically. The range of measurement frequency is 30~1000 MHz. SAM(Standard Antenna Method) was used for measuring antenna factors. The total uncertainty of antenna factor is below ±1 dB.
