이와쿠니 재일조선인 여성의 역사 = The history of Korean japanese women in Iwakuni

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article is the studying on reality of the migration experience and national discrimination of the Korean Japanese women, on meaning of participation in national education and right to live movement of the Korean Japanese women, and on the campaign against military bases in Iwakuni and the reality of complex discrimination of the interior of the Korean Japanese women who been deployed military bases in Iwakuni through the oral data collection, research and literature on the history of Korean Japanese women. First, examination of the social state of Korean japanese women through the process of migration, population statistics, and family (marriage)relations of Korean japanese women who migrated to Iwakuni during the front and the back of the second world war system. Meanwhile many Korean people was drafted into the military by force during the Japanese occupation in Iwakuni. Yamaguchi research group for investigating how forced mobilization really happened was set up in 1993, at that time, Iwakuni research group found out materials which provided the evidence of forced mobilization. It was possible to extract informations on Korean japanese women included theirs family relations by using that materials. By using newspapers, it was examined to the attitude of Japanese to Korean japanese as well. Second, examination of the activites and lives of Korean japanese women during the US military’s occupation, Korean War, and system of national security in Iwakuni. Korean japanese built their national school all across the country after the second world war. Right now, there are still alive Korean japanese women who went to the their national school at that time in Iwakuni. I had an interview with Korean japanese women. Being based on interview data from Korean japanese women, this study definitize the condition of Korean japanese women and the their national education after the second world war, and GHQ’s the reality of policies on Korean japanese movement during the Korean civil war, and history of formation of Iwakuni military camp town and culture of Korean japanese women during system of national security. Third, examination of the damage example of complex discrimination that Korean japanese women encountered in Iwakuni. And examination how Japan society and Korean japanese society counteract or reply.
