효과적인 조기 영어교육의 방향 = (A) study on the effective early English education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this thesis is to present the necessity of the early English education and suggest effective ways in its practice.
Different points of view about the early English education -- prose and cons -- are discussed.
It is concluded that the problem lies not in when, but more in how. In specific, problems are found in English teachers' qualifications in terms of their communicative competence in English, teaching methods and teaching materials, in physical environments, and increasing private education.
Based on these findings, some desirable directions for better early English education in each of the problematic areas are proposed.
