실제 연령과 주관적 연령의 차이에 따른 의복 연령적합성과 점포선택기준 연구 = A Study on the Evaluative Criteria for Clothing Age Fitness and Store Selection Determined by the Differences between the Chronological and Subjective Ages

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Purposes of the present study were to examine the differences in the extent to consider the age fitness, clothing selection and store selection among the groups of different demographic characteristics as well as the differences between the chronologican and subjective ages. The subjects of this study were teens and adults of up to 50 years of age residing in Seoul and Metropolitan areas. The subjects were 700 males and females and 578 were used for final data analysis. Chi-square analysis, ANOVA, t-test, Duncan's multiple range test and descriptive statistics were used for statistics analysis.
The subjects were divided into 5 groups based on the differences between the chronological and subjective ages: differences of (1)below 0 year, (2)0.001-2 years, (3)2-4 years, (4)4-6 years and (5)over 6 years. In terms of the evaluative criteria for age fitness of clothing, significant differences were found among groups determined by chronological age, and the differences between chronological and subjective ages, marital status, occupation and gender. Significant differences were found in selected evaluative criteria for selecting clothes and storesamong groups determined by the differences between chronological and subjective ages. and those perceiving themselves older gave little consideration to the criteria except sewing quality, dyeing condition and price.
