This paper aims to analyze the trends in the structure and inepuality of the income dis-tribution in the course of our economic development.
The remarkable feature of the structure of our income distribution was that the income from unincorporated enterprises is too large and the rates of personal expenses to value added is low, even though the income of corporations increased rapidly accompanying our economic development. It had been resulted mainly from that the primary industy occu-pies greater part in the industrial structure and the small scale business occupies great share in the manufacturing industries, which is principally caused by the shortage of the capital and overpopulation.
Therefore, the structure of our national income distribution presents generally the pa-tterns of under-developed countries which the per capita income is low. But it changes towards the patterns of advanced countries according to the time series data. We can know it from the trends of increase of the rates personal expenses to value added and the decline of income from unincorporated enterprises.
Because the date on income distribution are difficult to collect, I can not thoroughly mea-sure the inequality of income distribution. But according to available data, there is an evidence that income distribution is coming only a little improvements in the recent years.
